Our customer is a world-class developer of intelligent imaging solutions. They manufacture their products in Asia and distribute them through retail partners worldwide. The project is a web-based system that allows customer to view the logistics data of products supplied to its retail partners, which includes retail inventory and daily movement of goods. Also it allows its retail partners to manage the return material (RMA) process. The system also provides a decision support system to the sales organization of the customer using data from a data mart created by extracting information from their ERP system and from the EDI based transactions with their retail partners.

This application software manages the Material Procurement and Logistics of Freight Forwarders related to the Oil exploration companies. This is an online application.

We have built the software from ground up, we host the software and we provide online technical support to users. Currently the users are located in Australia, Asia and Europe. This service is provided through a partner based in Spain.

Truck Tracking - With Smart Cards

A truck and consignment tracking project was deployed by Digital Domain using a low cost Smart card technology and without the need of any expensive infrastructure. A Fleet Owner, who is the smart-card issuer, provides smart cards to its drivers which contains data such as truck details, name of the driver, consignment note numbers of the goods carried, etc. The card also carries an amount of money for purchase of gas. Gas stations en route have smart card reading terminals which can conduct a payment transaction for the gas purchased and obtain the truck details along with a time stamp. This is data is uploaded through SMS messaging onto the central system of the Fleet Owner.

Using this system, Fleet owners can keep track of their consignments and trucks and also know fuel usage details, elapsed time between stops etc.
